Clean and simple…

Hey everyone,

I had recently signed up for the Clean and Simple card class and fell in love with one of Julie Ebersole’s card lessons and so decided to try it out.

Have a look…

Cheers!

Clean and Simple card…

Hey everyone,

Am back with two more cards having been inspired with the latest offing by Kristina Werner, Jennifer Mcguire and Julie Ebersole in their Clean and Simple Cardmaking Class.

First up is a card I made using the Hero Arts Stamp set Blossom Arts with a SU! sentiment from the stamp set Father’s Day.

My second card is inspired from Agneiszka Malyszek with my own tweaking as in using the stamp sets I had on hand – Papersmooches stamp set – Spiffy Scooters and for the background Hero Arts & Basic Grey Stamp set – Flower Dot Pattern. I stamped the background with Tim Holtz distress ink – Tea Dye and coloured the scooter with copics…my colouring is not top notch but am trying…

Cheers!

Lawn Fawn…

Hey everyone,

My brother recently underwent eye surgery as he had a detached retina. Upon operating, the doctor discovered six tears in the retina. To cut a long story short, the operation was a success and my brother’s healing slowly but surely. So just wanted to send him thoughts and prayers via snail mail as well!

I know this is not the best reason to make a card, but I wanted to send him a ‘get well soon’ card, so I pulled out my favourite Lawn Fawn stamp set – It’s Clear to See and On the Mend and made this card. I can’t take full credit for this card, other Lawn Fawn creations on the net did inspire and I added my own take to it.

I kept to the optic theme;

Cheers!
