Christmas in August

Hey everyone,

It’s the month of August and here in the U.A.E. we’re practically melting in the sweltering temperatures but when Simon Says it’s Christmas it is. 🙂 Even though we’re still a long way off, it was a refreshing change to think of the wintry winds and holidays and family and…the list goes on.

Anyways, back to the challenge, I used SU! cardstock – Night of Navy and PTI Stamp Set Big and Bold Holiday Wishes. I then cut out 1/4″, 1/2″, and 3/4″ circles from a glittery patterned paper I had and created a Christmas tree and with the same paper punched out a star and finally added highlights with the white Uni-signo gel pen. Some of the circles were glued with regular adhesive while I popped the others on foam dimensionals.

Enjoy…

Cheers!

  1. I bet when you look at this in real life it just lights up like a real Christmas tree. I feel for you with the heat, but here in Australia we get that weather ON Christmas day so for me it’s weird making Christmas cards at this time of the year when it’s cold enough to have the fireplace roaring!
