Simon Says Stamp Challenge for kids…

Hey everyone!

This is my second post in under 10 minutes! Since I’m currently addicted to participating in challenges, some of that has rubbed off on my daughter. Last night we learnt of Simon Says Summer Holidays Children’s Challenge and so my daughter – Rhea jumped at the opportunity and started work on her card.

Rhea choose Penny Black’s Paint the Town stamp set and a floral theme stamp set from PTI and created this cute card.  As part of the scenery she cut out clouds from scrap paper and then with SU! Pacific Point ink sponged around the clouds to create the sky. For the grass she used SU! Old Olive ink and sponged the area around the Dandelion stalks.

On a separate sheet of white cardstock she stamped the images of the hedgehogs and balloons and coloured them using water colour pencils and an aquapainter, then cut them out and mounted them onto the card using foam dimensionals. The sentiment is from SU! Afterthoughts.

Here’s Rhea’s card…
